So you've booked the band, and now you need to know how to open your space to us. We love to hear that. If we are providing our own sound, it's easy. Just make sure we have a clear, (mostly) flat, empty space of about 10'x10'. Yeah, we know, it doesn't sound like much space, but it's plenty. We'll need a working outlet close by, but we have long extension cords if need be. If you're into voltage and amperage and stuff, we can get by with a standard 120v, 15-amp circuit. Just make sure the outlet is grounded. Kodey gets mad when outlets aren't grounded.
If you're running sound for us, then bully for you! Here's an easy input list:
1. Vocal mic, either Ear Trumpet Edwina or Ear Trumpet Letitia, provided by the band. For large, open spaces, we'll use Letitia. For small spaces, we'll use Edwina. They both require 48v phantom power. We'll also need a mic stand, preferably a tripod stand with a boom. Learn more about Edwina here, or Letitia here.
2. Guitar, on a DI provided by the band
3. Mandolin, on a DI provided by the band
4. Fiddle, on a DI provided by the band
5. Banjo, on a DI provided by the band. This DI will require 48v phantom power.
6. Double bass, on a DI provided by the band
