The Name Change

You may be thinking to yourselves, "hey, isn't this band called The Soggy Prairie 'Boys'?" Well, you'd be sorta right. But sorta doesn't count for much around here. 

For the first 16 years, yes, we were known as The Soggy Prairie Boys. As years went on, we grew tired of this name. It was picked by a bunch of very unoriginal 16 year olds, and basically stolen from a popular movie at the time. 

In 2018, enough was enough. We were all in our thirties by now, and in need of a change. We simply weren't boys anymore. We decided the best way to go would be a slight evolution, not a complete revolution. That paved the way for the new name, "Soggy Prairie." It's simple, and easier to say. Along with the name change came a full logo rebrand, so we were happy to shake things up a little bit. 

Yes, people are still going to call us the Soggy Prairie Boys, in fact they'll probably continue to call us the wrong name like the Soggy Prairie Dogs, or the Soggy Bottom Prairie Boys, or some iteration of that. But we're happy to be Soggy Prairie - and we will correct you if you say it wrong.
